And so we prepare, for the birth of Acorn Hill Handcrafts. We’ve set our sights on a February 1st opening date, and we will use every second to get ready! There are still items to be sanded and finished, photos to be taken, descriptions to be written, and shipping information to be figured out. But when all is said and done, we will have a small, but lovely array of handcrafted items made of wood sourced from our Oregon and Missouri homesteads, and iron that has been wrought by hand over a coal forge by my blacksmith husband.
You can expect to see wood and iron coat racks, some beautiful black walnut live edge serving boards, Waldorf-inspired child-sized cutting boards, and also lovely watercolor paint holders (again, a Waldorf-inspired product for wet-on-wet watercolor painting). And no doubt, we will add and subtract as we feel inspired!
Please do drop by our shop tomorrow for a peek!
