  1. Keeping Bees

  2. Melissa Dancer says:

    Good Beautiful Saturday Evening!!
Of course the 200.00 gift voucher for the farmer’s market would be breathtakingly ideal!!
My daughter Lillee is home & we try to teach sustainable living lifestyles first and foremost. Our opportunities to venture out are certainly few and very far in between. This prize would assist our family GREATLY, in more ways than I can name!!! Lillee would be shopping the market with an idea of items we would plan to freeze & can. This would be an exciting money management lesson for her as well as socializing with the producers and asking them questions about their farming methods and future plans. This would be a day for her memory book!!!
Thank you all for offering these prizes & sharing with us all online your wealth of beneficial knowledge!!
May God Bless You All Immensely!!!!

  3. I am most excited about the Art of gardening book! But all the books are right up my ally! I have been so blessed in learning to garden, and I live sharing what I learn with others. Eager to keep learning and sharing!

  4. I’d like to win “The Homemade Series”. Thanks for the chance to win win it! My family eats local produce and meat. I’d love to never have to shop again but there are somethings I do get at our local co op and Wegmans.

    • Teri Page says:

I love Ashley English’s books. We are about the same – local produce whenever we can, local meat and dairy, but still trying to find ways to eat local grains and oils.

  5. the one I am most exctied about is the Local Harvest! I grew up in a small farm town where all we ate was local food. I then traveled to the city to study culinary. I realized though when i got away from eating local produce i actually became more sickly (allergies, lactose intolerance, then eventually cancer). Now that i am married and a stay at home wife i made it my #1 PRIORITY to only give my husband and i the best local food. And since relocating to a different state i’m finding it a struggle to do so. But I have my garden started and these prizes will help out greatly!

    • Teri Page says:

Fallon, I had a similar struggle when I moved to a new state, about a year and a half ago. Last fall, I figured out ways to buy crops that would keep well and store them for winter, but I did not stock up well enough. I’m excited to make more of an effort in that direction this year. What a gift that you’re giving to your family.

  6. So excited to see a giveaway for Canada as well. I love everything here.

  7. the keeping bees book would be the best

  8. It’s so hard to pick just one! The local harvest gift card is my favorite.

  9. I am interested in them all!! :0) Thx for the chance to win!

  10. Who wouldn’t be excited about any of the prizes here? But the one that I really appreciate is the t-shirt! How exciting it is to know that what you do can help to feed so many people! I know what it’s like to be on the receiving end…how grateful I would be to be on the giving end!

  11. I’d love to win the gift certificate! It’s important to me to support my local farmers through a CSA membership and farmers markets. We also buy pastured eggs, honey from friends, local beef and freeze lots of organic local fruit every fall. We have a goddess sized garden too— veggies, herbs, plums, cherries, red currents, thornless blackberries, raspberries……. It’s important to know where our food comes from and to limit the distances it’s transported.

    Thanks!

    • Teri Page says:

We’re going to be part of a CSA as well this year. I grow a large garden, but want to maximize my potential to eat local foods. I figured a CSA share was a great way to do this! Can’t wait for it to begin!

  12. Beekeeping

  13. Sarah Harrison says:

I would love to have the Ashley English books! I have bees on the way and need that book! :)
EEK that shirt though….Love it all!

  14. Woah, oh, oh. This is an AWESOME giveaway! Not sure what I am most excited about… um, EVERYTHING. ;)

  15. What a great giveaway. Great selection of books, but the local harvest gift certificate would be what I’d be most excited about.

  16. De Peaslee says:

A great giveaway!! All of the prizes are interesting and helpful.I have 5 hens for eggs. I have been WB canning for quite a while now, but have just started pressure canning this past fall and love it! I’m expanding my veggies gardening every year and am hoping to add a lasagna type berm along my chicken yard in the back this year. I want to grow and preserve as much of my own grown foods as possible. So, that being said, I guess the The Art of Gardening: Building Your Soil eBook ‘should’ be my #1 choice. But seriously, the $200 Gift Certificate to Local Harvest is my top pick!! Who doesn’t like free food, especially when its sustainably grown and local??

  17. WOW! All these prizes look absolutely amazing & I would love to win! I would especially love the support local tshirt because I think supporting local farmers is very important for the local economy & for our health!

  18. All of these things are great! Thank you!

  19. I would love the $200 gift certificate!

  20. Donna Danna says:

Local harvest gift card! Can hardly wait!

  21. Preserving by the pint – I love canning!

  22. Colleen says:

set of autographed Homemade Living Series books< nothing better than a signed copy!

  23. Lauren Delgado says:

I’m ridiculously excited about this entire contest, but I am especially excited about the Local Harvest Gift Card!!!

  24. The gift certificate!

  25. I would love the gift card, or the locally grown shirt dearly!

  26. I am most excited about the local harvest gift card!

    Thanks for the chance!
